The story centers on an Oscar-winning British screenwriter (Hugh Grant) now creatively washed up, divorced and broke. He takes a job teaching screenwriting at a small East Coast college, and ends up in a romance with a single mom who has gone back to school.
Martin Shafer and Liz Glotzer are producing.
Production kicks off in New York next spring,
Lawrence and Grant previously worked together on 3 films "Music and Lyrics," "Two Weeks Notice" and "Did You Hear About the Morgans?".
