Saldana Treads High Water

Actress Zoe Saldana and producers Jane Startz & Aida Bernal, have optioned the film rights to author Joy Castro‘s debut novel the mystery thriller "Hell Or High Water" says Deadline.

Set in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina New Orleans reporter Nola Céspedes is dragged into the city’s underworld on the trail of what she thinks will be her big scoop.

The trio are determining if this will be a feature or TV series. If it goes forward, it's unclear if Saldana will star on screen.
